Restorative dentistry may be necessary to replace defects
in natural tooth structure as a result of cavities.
Broken down old fillings, or fractured or chipped teeth.
These restorations are custom fabricated from numerous
materials- all ceramic metal free highly esthetic crowns
to porcelain fused to gold- depending on the situation.
The specific type of material used will depend on your
needs, bite and oral condition. We can replace one tooth
or missing teeth using crowns and bridges respectively.
Crowns and bridges are extremely predictable and long
lasting restorations.

This is a common one-step procedure utilizing state
of the art tooth-colored materials to fill cavities,
fix chipped or fractured teeth, close spaces and cover
unsightly stains. They are painless and unless there
is decay, are usually drill-free. Highly esthetic
materials are used in the front of the mouth and more
durable materials on the posterior or chewing surfaces.
We can fix almost any cosmetic problem with bonding
procedures. click

Porcelain veneers are the most conservative and esthetic
means of creating a more pleasing and beautiful smile.
Being 0.3-0.5mm thick (The thickness of an average
fingernail), occasionally the minimally invasive preparation
of your teeth does not necessitate the use of local
anaesthetic. They allow us to change the color, position
and shade of any tooth and require the same maintenance
as your natural teeth. The glazed porcelain veneers
are biocompatible and well tolerated by the gingival
tissues. They can last for many years, are stronger
than bonding, and also more resistant to chipping
and are stain resistant. They are used to "correct"
maligned teeth in what I call "Orthodontic Veneering"
which can give you straight, whiter, natural looking
teeth in a fraction of the time it takes for braces.

There are several bleaching techniques available and
ALL use a peroxide whitening agent in different strengths
and formulas. We have found the most effective means
to whiten teeth is a combination of in office and
a supervised professional dental strength take home
kit. The in office segment is done in about an hour
and the take home is done for about a week and then
used to TOUCH UP or maintain the whiteness of your
teeth. No matter which technique used, the teeth will
start to dull immediately and is directly related
to your habits (smoking, red wine, etc.) and simply
breathing polluted air. This is the most economical
means for one to maintain their results. click

Dental Implants are used to replace missing teeth.
They are titanium root replacements anchored into
the jawbones used to support a tooth, bridge or denture.
Contrary to popular belief, they are virtually painless
and are a highly predictable alternative to replace
one or more missing teeth. The complete procedure
can be as short as 8 weeks. They are currently considered
standard dentistry in the dental field. click

It is essential that we provide a clean and safe environment
to prevent the transmission of disease. To ensure this,
our office meets or exceeds all government (OSHA) required
standards for sterilization. You can feel comfortable
knowing that we take the following steps:
During all procedures and treatments, our doctors, hygienists,
and dental assistants wear gloves, eyeglasses or protective
shields and masks. All instruments are sterilized after
each use, including handpieces.
Disposable products are used whenever possible. All
surfaces of equipment which may be touched during treatment
are disinfected after each use. All treatment rooms
are regularly cleaned and disinfected after each patient.
A state-of-the-art pressure sterilizer, called an autoclave,
is used to sterilize all metal instruments. Before being
placed in the autoclave, the instruments are rinsed
and scrubbed, disinfected and ultrasonically cleaned.
All sterilization equipment is tested by an outside
agency to ensure that it is functioning properly. Plastic
instruments are sterilized overnight.
